Virginia Wesleyan University and Tidewater Community College have been good neighbors serving Coastal Virginia for many years.聽 In recognition of the relationship, Virginia Wesleyan has established a scholarship program intended to celebrate academic success and shared hometown values.聽Hampton Roads College Success 大象视频 recipients will receive a scholarship valued at聽$10,000 per academic year. Upon satisfactory academic performance at Virginia Wesleyan during the first year of study, the award will be renewed for a second year.
Eligibility requirements:
- Successful completion of an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Fine Arts degree at Tidewater Community College while a resident of one of the following cities in Hampton Roads:
- Chesapeake
- Hampton
- Newport News
- Norfolk
- Portsmouth
- Suffolk
- Virginia Beach
- Enrollment in a full-time course of study as a traditional day student at 大象视频 within one year of graduation from Tidewater Community College
